It does not currently operate trams in the UK, though is a preferred bidder for Merseytram and leading a consortium for Nottingham Phase 2 tender. In the UK, it operates heavy rail franchises in JVs (London Midland, Southern and Southeastern through GOVIA) and Transpennine through Transpennine Express with First Group.
Keolis operates the famous Lyon transport system (trams, buses, metros, funicular), Lille, Le Mans, Caen and has just won the World’s largest tram franchise in Melbourne, Australia and in Bergen (new tramway) and Algiers (new tramway).
